I don’t know whose email address this is, but, I wanted to thank Andrew for the box of goodies he sent us, so, please forward this email as necessary.
Except for the day of rain on Hayman Island, we had a wonderful time in Australia. We were glad that we had the extra days there so that we were able to take a helicopter to the Great Barrier Reef and do some snorkeling. The finals of the Open were fun to watch as well – although, the earlier matches seemed more competitive. We flew back from Melbourne to LA with Serena and her Mom as well as with Jim Courier.
If any of the photos that you folks took of us are good, would you mind emailing them to us?
We look forward to having the pinot noir some evening – we spent some time in Napa and Sonoma Valleys several years ago. You’ll appreciate that the key chain is on my tennis bag. Thanks again for the goodies.

Dear All,
Thanks for a wonderful trip ‘down under”. I not only discovered what a wonderful and alluring place Australia is but I had the experience of a lifetime in one trip thanks to your expertise at Grand Slam. Susan, you managed to handle every detail with finesse and precision down to finding solutions for all our needs.
Andrew, your presence and personal touch meant a great deal. You helped the group relax and enjoy the trip.
Finally, Dave, you were a superb host at Koolong and at the Rod Laver Arena. It was great to get your notes on the draw sheet and to hear your thoughts on the players and the tournament from your historical perspective.
Grand Slam Tours exceeded my expectations even if the final rounds did not manage to provide the excitement we were all anticipating.
My husband was so impressed with my photos and experience that next year he might decide to go.

Hi Susan,
It was great to meet you in Melbourne! We had a fantastic trip and are still sad to be back home in the “real world”. I didn’t have a chance to thank you in person for all your help, and in particular, to tell you that we were very happy to be seated in Row 70 on our flight home…so much more room with only two seats….that was a great suggestion. We also were stunned with our beautiful room at the Four Seasons in Sydney; the junior suite had an amazing view of the Opera House, Bridge and harbor – we didn’t ever want to close our curtains – so thank you for passing that upgrade along to us as well. In case anyone ever asks you, the Sea Temple Spa and Resort we stayed at in Palm Cove was absolutely beautiful. The apartments were stunning and had every single thing you could think of (including a much needed washer & dryer) and more!
You may be hearing from my brother, Bruce, from B.C. He is very interested in a trip to Australia and the “Open” next year and I gave him your e-mail address to get more information. I gave him a glowing report of our trip and the excellent service that you all provided, so I expect that he will be getting in touch with you sometime in the future.
Thanks again for your part in making our Australian trip so memorable. Who knows, we may have another Grand Slam somewhere in our future.

What a wonderful trip I had, thank you for doing such a great job organizing us all. I spoke with such enthusiasm to Ted that he told me to book the French Open and he would come with me. Unfortunately this will have to wait till next year, because I do have to go to Holland in the middle of the summer for my Dad’s 100th birthday. Let’s talk about that at the end of 2007.
