This year’s first leg of the Davis Cup will bring the US men to one of the oldest cities in Europe. The US is hoping to add to their total of 32 Davis Cup victories this year and will begin play against the Serbs March 5-7. Belgrade, the capitol of Serbia has been around for over 7000 years , is rich with history, and has quite the reputation for being a festive, fun place to visit. The Belgrade Arena, which is included in Europe’s most beautiful arena list, is also the fifth largest of its kind and will be the venue for the first ever meeting between US and Serbia in Davis Cup play. The Americans will have their hands full on the indoor red clay as they face off against the likes of Novak Djokovic and are going to need some support to pull off this first round victory!
