COVID-19 Traveler Information

Chances are if you’re reading this right now, you love tennis. And like us, you can’t wait to get back to the grass of Wimbledon, the blue courts of Melbourne, the red clay of Monte-Carlo, the palm tree horizon of Indian Wells... the list goes on and on. The COVID-19 pandemic brought a sudden, jarring, and abrupt pause to the tennis events we love, along with so much more in 2020. It created a new world in which we now travel and attend events. And as we look forward to once again attending the Slams and ATP/WTA 1000 tournaments in 2021, we have each other's safety and health to consider first and foremost.

Since we opened our doors for business 25 years ago, the safety, security, and trust of our clients has been our first priority. We are a close-knit, travel-with-you, dine-with-you, cheer-in-the-stands-with-you team. Your trust (and friendship) keeps us going. This has never been more apparent than in these current circumstances. We want to take an opportunity to share with you the precautions we’re taking when traveling with us, as well as the new added flexibility we are offering when booking with us. We are taking every course of action to give you confidence to plan your next dream tennis vacation.

Keeping You Informed

As a matter of being in a business that is centered around travel to international tennis events, we’re not only watching the tennis headlines, we’re also always monitoring what’s going on in the destinations we travel around the world. This pandemic has provided no exception. Our decisions are guided by the latest recommendations from the CDC and WHO, along with local health authorities where we travel. We’ll communicate any pertinent information related to the event and your departure by email so you’re always in the loop.

From airline policies to country and even state instituted measures around travel, quarantine, testing, and vaccines, we are keeping a close watch on regulations that will affect our trips this year. Where we add unique value and a special benefit to you is our access inside the events. We have built decades of contacts with Tournament Directors, Hotel General Managers, Food and Beverage Directors; essentially the folks that can give us the real time, up-to-date information around current and potential future measures to safeguard all of us. With this knowledge, we can build into our itineraries the necessary steps our groups will need to take upon arrival in our destinations, at the hotels, and at the events.

We will continue to closely monitor the situations and share any additional updates regarding travel to all of our upcoming events. We are glad to answer any further questions. For any questions or concerns regarding current or future bookings, please call our team for assistance at (800) 289–3333 or email us at [email protected].

Thank you for your continued trust in our business. We hope to welcome you on a tennis experience soon, and we thank you for your continued support.

We will update this page and the following resources as we receive new information.
Last update: November 17, 2021 12:00 PM

Event Safety and Logistics

We are in frequent and close discussions with tournament officials to understand how they will be operating their event. Be it reduced capacity seating, altered spacing and movement around the facilities, testing requirements, managing crowd density, face coverings, or restricted food service offerings, we know what you need to know.

The social events we organize as part of your travel packages will be operated in line with local health official recommendations and oriented around creating an outdoor experience and providing a comfortable space for guests to enjoy their time. We will apply social distancing measures, maximize airflow, and provide private transportation for guests.

Flexible Booking Policy

Trust is key when booking travel in the current world. We're here to give you the flexibility to book with confidence and peace of mind. With our more flexible booking policy, you can plan your future travel with complete peace of mind. Should you need to cancel or change your travel package booking, your deposit can now be converted to a travel credit up to 60 days in advance of the event start date (the first day of the main draw of the tournament). If the event is canceled, we’re able to offer a credit of 100% of the travel package or tickets you purchased through us, applicable for two years from the date of travel.

In the wake of so many travelers experiencing little to no assistance last year from their travel insurance policy, we at GSTT have developed a trip protection option for travelers. With this option available on all trips and ticket purchases, you have the peace of mind to cancel for truly any reason up to 14 days prior to your event and receive a full cash refund, less the cost of the trip protection. GSTT Trip Protection can be purchased for a 15% surcharge on your trip.

The full details of our booking policy and GSTT Trip Protection can be found here.

Many countries, including the US, have instated pre-arrival testing requirements. Many airlines have helpful pages listing requirements by destination.
